The Future Forces Exhibition & Forum (FFF), a three-day event focused on security and defense, recently concluded. Today, more than ever, it is crucial to address current and future threats swiftly and effectively.

This year, more than 320 exhibitors from around the world gathered at the Prague PVA EXPO exhibition center, including prominent Czech representatives from the defense industry. Czechoslovak Group, which served as the general partner for the Future Forces Forum 2024, had the largest exhibit. Other key Czech exhibitors included Aero Vodochody, PBS Velká Bíteš, Ray Service, Meopta, and Quittner & Schimek.

In addition to established Czech companies, this year's exhibition featured many smaller or start-up firms that impressed us with their portfolios of innovative and often unique solutions. Czech commercial companies fully recognize the urgency of the deteriorating security situation and the increasing demand for stronger and more efficient protection. As a result, we were able to witness several fascinating products. We discussed some of them in greater detail directly at the exhibition in our media corner (see the video at the beginning of the article).

With the conclusion of this year's Future Forces Forum, we asked Radka Konderlová, Senior Director of the Industrial Cooperation Section, for her initial thoughts on the event. "I must say, I was genuinely surprised by how much the Future Forces Forum has grown over the last two years. Thumbs up to the organizers. We have the largest companies in the Czech arms industry here, along with several national pavilions. I can mention Denmark, India, France, and of course, Ukraine," Radka Konderlová remarked.

On behalf of the organizers, we also spoke with Adam Drnek, Executive Director of the Future Forces Forum, for his feedback on this year's event. "First of all, I would like to thank you for your participation and media support of this event. And how do we rate it? For us, what matters most is how our clients and the official delegates who attended the event rate it. So far, we've received very positive feedback from official delegations, the Ministry of Defence, and representatives from various security forces. We are still in the process of evaluating feedback from our exhibitors, and so far, that has also been very positive."

And what can we expect at the next Future Forces Forum? "I can already share that we have some topics in mind and have begun working on them. Earlier today, I met with Colonel Martínek, Director of the JCBRN Defence Centre of Excellence, and we’ve already started planning for 2026," revealed Adam Drnek.
