For their long-term support of the Fund, the Chief of the General Staff of the Czech Armed Forces, General Ales Opata, awarded them with the Czech Armed Forces’ Cross of Merit III. Stage. "All contributions to the Military Solidarity Fund are appreciated, but the most important is the long-term support it receives. Therefore, I would like to thank the Fund's long-term partners for contributing to a good cause," said General Opata.

On Monday 24th May, the General Staff honored CZG President Lubomir Kovarik, CZG External Relations Director Eva Svobodova and Military Weapons Division Director Martin Sanda.

"Thank you very much for this award. We have supported the Military Solidarity Fund since its inception because we consider it important to assist our soldiers, who are serving domestically and abroad, together with their families. The Army of the Czech Republic plays a crucial role in not only the defence of our state, but also in supporting our citizens, as demonstrated, among other things, by the coronavirus pandemic," said Lubomir Kovarik, CZG President and Chairman of the Board.

We want to continue in our ongoing cooperation and support of the fund and firmly believe that other companies will follow," said CEO Vaclav Elman on behalf of the group.

The Command of the Army of the Czech Republic is gradually recognizing other companies and entities that contribute significantly to the Fund. The Cepro joint stock company, Aramark s.r.o., WTF Communication s.r.o. and the Military Health Insurance Company have already been honored.
